Low Desert FCA Leadership Board

Board Member Beliefs & Commitments

• Have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord 
• Agree with the FCA Statement of Faith 
• Have an approved FCA Ministry Leader Application (MLA) on file 
• Agree with and actively promote the vision and mission of FCA 
• Be a part of your local church family

Board Member Expectations

Pray

• Pray weekly for the Low Desert FCA ministry 
• Pray specifically as immediate needs are communicated

  Serve

• Serve a three-year term with opportunity to serve a second term. Terms  begin and end with FCA Ministry Year (9/1 thru 8/31).
• Attend at least nine of the monthly Leadership Board Meetings
•  Connect with Low Desert Multi-Area Director (MAD)at least monthly
• Actively serve on one of the following Leadership Board Teams:
  1. Ministry Team – design, support and execute Ministry Plan
  2. Development Team – cultivate, communicate, connect donors
• Participate in annual board retreat
• Gain ministry exposure through attending a local ministry activity (i.e. huddle meeting, Fields of Faith outreach, and/or camp)
• Actively introduce Low Desert MAD to potential new ministry partners 

 Give

• Personally give each year to the Low Desert MAD Org 
• Give and/or raise financial resources to meet the ministry needs of the Low Desert MAD Org.
